    What is up with all the waving bears?

    It’s a conditioned response/conditioned stimulus feedback loop. What they don’t show is that food is involved. Human waves. Bear waves back. Human throws bear food — a reward that reinforces the behavior of waving to the point where the bear will always wave at humans, expecting food in return.

    What they don’t show is the food involved but what they do show is THE CHICKEN WIRE FENCE SEPARATING YOU AND TWO GIANT BEARS!
